After my mother's passing, I felt like I was carrying a weight I couldn't set down. The sessions didn't rush my grief — they held it. I finally started sleeping through the night.
I came in skeptical and left crying — in the best way. For the first time since my divorce, I felt like my body belonged to me again. The pain hadn't disappeared, but it had a place.
Losing my father felt like the ground had changed beneath me. Alif helped me find a new kind of footing — not moving on, but moving forward. I'm grateful for the space to grieve intentionally.
After my partner died suddenly, I couldn't feel my own body. The sessions gave me back sensation in the gentlest way — never pushing, never asking me to be further along than I was. I started to feel like myself again.
I was in the second year after losing my mother when I found Alif. Nothing else had reached the place where I was stuck. Each session felt like a slow exhale — like my body finally had permission to put something down.
A major health diagnosis turned my whole identity upside down. I didn't know who I was anymore. The work we did wasn't about going back to who I was — it was about meeting who I am now. I carry it with me every day.
